Life Above All
In war, a king’s life is worth a 100 soldiers. The real question is, who is more valuable? No one is the answer, because we are all humans of the same form, and we are all equally important. Not because of our titles and positions, but because they all share the gift of life. In an articlet by the author Venker believes that due to feminist acts people lost their morals towards women, and she supported this claim by giving an example of 2 ships that sinked, one which was in 1912 where they had put lives of women and children before men and saved them first, and as for the ship that had recently sinked in Concordia men didn’t abide by this moral and had no consideration for women. Feminist acts and awareness didn't cause this to happen, it is because people have lost their sense of manner over time. Also in the article the writer claims a fallacy which states “feminists taught you to believe: that gender is a social construct.”(Venker par.2) Feminism doesn't make people believe that gender is a social construct it just support the claim that all life is as important to the other, and fights against discrimination. In my opinion, people should be entitled to equal rights as each of us is our own individual and no person is at a better importance level than another.

It is true that women shouldn’t fight for their rights, because if women would look past being equal to men, they’d appreciate the fact that they are different, and that they would benefit way more than the pros they’re getting from their rights. They would be able to live a life where everything is easier for them, whether it’s from the treatment they get to the things they’d get just for being women. For example, a woman wouldn’t have to work a day in her life and still she’ll get everything she wants from her husband after getting married, and from her father and brothers before she gets married. So why would a woman want to be equal to a man, where she enters a world of savages, and reach the point where she would get into a fight with a man and society wouldn’t mind whats happening because she is equal to that man. Not regarding the fact that she wouldn’t have the respect she once had before being equal, and slowly that would fade because parents wouldn’t pass these morals to the coming generation because they are raised as equals.
