Firstly, people most of the time want
to show they are different from each other, and to show they are better than
each other. Those people usually are wrong. For example, a topic of debating is
same sex marriage and the debating about it seems that it could be right or
wrong. However, there are more than one reason showing why I am not against
same sex marriage. First one is that
homosexuality is not harming anyone. In my opinion, two gays or two lesbians
don’t affect my life physically whereas seeing some people who explode
themselves under religions issues affects my life physically, emotionally and
socially. Secondly, I hope some people
to understand that marriage is not related to religions. For example, why
religions say people can marry from different religions, while they cannot
marry from different sexes. In addition, god wants us to be happy, and god
doesn’t mention the meaning of happiness so he will with our choice of
happiness. Finally in our world there are a lot of problems to discuss, so let
us discuss more problematic topics different than homosexuality.
The first
argument to show you’re against same sex marriage is that it opposes religions
because it disagrees with the message that religions bring to us. Then, in
equality and homosexuality are much closed words. Moreover, countries that
allowed same sex marriage mostly they have a decreasing in number of population
for several reasons, but the most important reason is same sex couples can’t
increase the number of people in these countries. It increases also the number
of abortion in the world an article in the Washington post mentions that “they
are saying that same sex marriage will cause 900000 abortions”. Another
disadvantage of homosexuality is the decreasing in the rate of marriage. For example, Dana Miblank says that "The national marriage rate declined to 6.8 per 1,000 in 2012, from 8.0
in 2002, before Massachusetts became the first state to legalize gay
marriage." Therefore, according to these arguments same-sex marriage should be forbidden because it kills humans physically and socially.
