Plastic surgery

First of all, in the article “” the writer tried to show how bad plastic surgeries are. Specific example was given, Marina, a 60-year-old Caucasian who did plastic operations “a 3-D face-lift, upper and lower eyelid lifts and endoscopic brows lift.” (Article) The writer also grabs people’s attention by making his title provoking and stating his opinion in it. He wants to persuade readers that undergoing plastic surgeries is just another way to cheat on your partner. The article is somehow right. He mentions older women “fixing” their looks while their husbands are abroad as they will not notice. Lying is definitely a way in which couples cheat on each other. Moreover, spending a lot of money on such things without her husband’s knowledge is a great way to hide her quick change. Another way is deciding when to have the surgery so they can recover by the time their husband is back. But women don’t realize that surgery leads to medical risks or go in an opposite way in which these surgeries lead to a deformed face and body parts that need more reconstructive surgeries. Plastic surgeries do not always meet the person’s expectations.

Although plastic surgeries have many downfalls, they are helpful for physical deformity, self-confidence. People who were in accident can do constructive surgeries to improve their appearance. Constructive surgery is one type of plastic surgery that should be acceptable in order to reduce the anxiety of such a deformed body part or face. It also helps people who are not physically deformed, but who have a problem with specific body parts by correcting their perceived flaws. In addition,      plastic surgery gives patients higher self-esteem. By fixing issues they feel bad about can give them self confidence in order to be socially active and

Plastic surgery has several benefits, it is important to remember plastic surgery doesn’t fix a person’s life. It does help with self-confidence, but in the end the same person goes into surgery and comes out of surgery. Plastic surgery will not give a person a perfect body, a perfect nose or a perfect life. It corrects problems, and aesthetically the doctor does the best with what he’s given. Don’t expect perfection, expect improvement.
