In the article The revolution will not be polite: the issue of nice versus good by Rachael, the writer tries to shed light on the misinterpretation between being good and being nice. She claims that people hide their oppressive insults under the veil of niceness. However, oppression does not only mean hurting someone's feelings, but also means denying someone's rights and choices due to their social statue in society. Moreover, the fusion between social justice and niceness means an incomprehension of privilege, whereby social justice stands to fight for acuity. This fusion also marginalizes society into many groups and stereotypes because the writer states that manners differ from niceness. She articulates that niceness is cultural while manners is identified by the oppressor. In addition, she highlights that people should understand the real meaning of life by knowing how to distinguish between goodness and niceness. Finally, she expresses that social justice is not about living in a nice place, in fact, it's about fighting to gain back one's rights, uniting to stop gloomy oppression, and trying to reach human equality.

  1. Check moodle for your grade. The main idea is too broad. Don't use the wording of your fellow students, the term fusion is not accurate to begin with and I can't tell if you borrowed it from someone or they borrowed it from you. Try being original. What is acuity. Do you mean equality? Does she talk about "Nice Place" or about rights? Watch your wording. Not bad though.
