Summary by Omar Za'tara
In the text "The Revolution will not be polite: The issue of Nice versus Good", the writer Rachael gives her strong opinion about "the conflation of ethical or just conduct (goodness), and polite conduct (niceness), being a big problem". In other words, she clarifies the difference between being "nice" and "good", and explains how the confusion between the two is a "big problem". It is not difficult to see that Rachael supports and fights for the rights of the unprivileged and the oppressed in society (eg. women, homosexuals, transexuals, ....etc.), and the defense is built upon her explaining to the public what being "good" is, which (in her perspective) is giving all people their privileges and rights as human beings, without labeling them or treating them differently to any other person. Contradictory to being "nice", which is basically "to be polite". So a person could be disrespectful, racist and oppressive, but if he/she presents it in a polite way, then he/she is "nice". Rachael expresses her frustration on this issue very clearly in the text, stating that the underprivileged should not settle for a person being "nice" rather, they should see the "nice" oppressive person as much as an enemy as any other person who oppresses them in a "not nice" way. Rachael concludes by pointing out that, achieving social justice is not an aim to make the people in the world nicer and friendlier, no. It's done to give every human being the equal rights and opportunities they deserve, whether they fit into cultural/social norms or not, it does not matter, everyone deserves to live, love and to be loved.

Check moodle for your grade. Never quote the text in a summary and what you quote is not the main idea, you have to draw it from the text in your own words. Your tone is not objective enough. And in the middle of the body of the summary when you explain good you don't really follow the order of the text. This could be a wording issue.
