summary

“The issue of nice versus good”. The definition of Social Justice is too oftenly misunderstood. The Issue here is to know the difference between nice and good: our words or actions are not always  acceptable, just because we have a nice attitude towards people.

Justice is about equality and offering the same rights to  every individual, and Justice was created and developed because some groups of people were privileged compared to others who were diminished. Thus, being ‘polite’ does not erase the harm people intend to do to others. Rachael wrote “Equal does not mean nicer”. Being Good is about respecting our common rights, and having no intention to take someone down. It is not about ‘not being mean’ and apologizing. Furthermore, being nice can be an illusion ; manipulating someone by being gentle and polite, and use this trust for our own interest.

  1. Check moodle for your grade. Your main idea after sentence 2 is correct but simplify it. Also, don't quote in a summary. Lastly, though you represent most of her ideas your wording is a bit off, you are not close enough to the original.
