"The social contract"

In the article, “The Social Contract” Rousseau said "Man is born free, but everywhere he is in chains.”  Because these chains are not naturally found, they must be constructions of convention. In general, we are controlled by religion, parties, and Politics. News shares principles, norms, rules, and decision-making procedures. News’ reporters provide us with data and information that are almost ‘sacred’. Therefore, we blindly trust them and adopt their directions and beliefs. Sometimes, News is intentionally hiding the truth of some issues perhaps for different political reasons. Although News doesn’t show the real situation in some countries, people believe and accept what News deliver. In other words, people are being affected and they show mercy to something that doesn’t really exist. Moreover, people argue without even knowing the other points of view because of their belonging to some parties or religions. That’s why most people miss the point of getting information that helps in building their own perspective; they are just being robots. This picture is in the Palestinian camps where people follow parties portend that they support Palestinian conflict. This picture doesn’t show people who are protesting to demand their rights, but to support the party that they follow.  People only protest for what others see is right, not what they believe is right.
