In the article "The Revolution Will Not Be Polite : The Issue Of Nice Versus Good" the writer Rachael argues that the blending between the terms of niceness and goodness leads to a great misinterpretation of social justice , and prevents evolution.The author states that people think that a nicer society makes justice prevailing and provides equality among people, which is not true .
So, the author claims that niceness is a mask to hide all oppressive and abusive actions , and to make control of others thoughts and actions, such as the nice ways men use in order to abuse women.
She more explains that people consider that being nice to specific people is what leads to privilege and marginalizes others , however the real reason behind privilege is giving people of higher classes the priority in everything and providing them with more rights than others .She more adds that cultural narratives reinforce injustice in societies , in which they determine and limit the rights of others .Therefore the writer clearly states that social justice can be achieved by reducing privilege and distinction among people and not by niceness. By summing up ,this confusion between niceness and goodness , and their relativity to social justice is leading to the deception of people and is encountering them to many dangers (such as abuse and discrimination).,so she recommends that  they must be aware that oppression is not by insulting their feelings and so on , but by preventing them from their rights and living standards  just because they belong to low classes in their corresponding society.
