I was born and raised in Lebanon. I’m not grateful but I’m
proud to be Lebanese. I believe it’s because I have seen too much corruption
while growing up. It’s frustrating yet motivating. Frustrating because
obviously it’s degrading our lifestyle and stability. Basically our country is
deprived from the comfort other developed countries take for granted. I should
still be thankful though, considering the current lives of Syrians or African children.
On the other hand, I’m proud of being Lebanese because it made me thrive for
big goals. I have come to believe that our generation should be the change in
our country. We should be the ones to put an end to the corruption around us. We
should be the ones putting effort into fulfilling the greater good of our
nation.
I’m a very curious person. Not in a bad way though. I like
to know a little bit about everything. “Jack of all trades master of none”. I
love sports but ironically I’m lazy. I believe being with friends is the best
way to spend my time. I’m not an emotional person because I’m not comfortable
with too much emotions. I’d rather keep things light and make sure there’s
always humor to lighten up the mood. I believe that only a special few should
get to know that side of me.
I believe in astrology because it’s too accurate to be
false. I know it sounds stupid, I used to think astrology and zodiac stuff are
stupid but whatever (I’m a Gemini by the way). I really like feeling free. You know
the feeling when there is absolutely nothing on your mind on a summer night
while you’re out with friends and just having a great time laughing out loud.
These little things should be appreciated before we grow up.
I like what you said about Lebanon!
